Glass Tiger is a Canadian rock band formed in 1980 from Newmarket, Ontario. The band features Alan Frew on lead vocals supported by Sam Reid (keyboards), Al Connelly (guitar), Wayne Parker (bass) and Michael Hanson (drums). Originally named Tokyo, the band was signed by EMI Music Canada after they opened for their touring artist Culture Club at Toronto's Maple Leaf Gardens in 1984. Glass Tiger's debut album The Thin Red Line (1986) produced two hit international singles, "Don't Forget Me (When I'm Gone)" [#2 on Billboard] and "Someday...
